VIC/TAS Branch Report

Lisa Cranham VIC/TAS Branch Chair

2026 is already shaping up to be an active year for the Victorian and Tasmanian committees, with a strong focus on delivering practical opportunities and meaningful engagement for our members. The committee has welcomed new members this year, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to support our ongoing initiatives.

This year we are planning two to three facility tours, giving members a chance to see innovation in practice and share insights across hospitals and aged care facilities. We also have three webinars scheduled for the early part of 2026 - watch for EDMs with details of these events.

Earlier this year we hosted the Gouge Linen tour, providing members with valuable insights into linen services, operational efficiency and sector innovations. Events like this are a key way for members to exchange ideas, learn about best practice and strengthen professional networks.

We also continue to value the support of our Gold and Platinum supporters. Their engagement enables us to deliver programs and activities that benefit all members and help maintain a strong, connected community.

The committees remain committed to providing opportunities for professional development, networking and knowledge sharing throughout the year. We look forward to another productive year of collaboration and growth across both Victoria and Tasmania.
