It has been a wonderful and busy few months for the Victorian Branch, with our Excellence Awards celebration, an upcoming hospital tour and preparations for our State Annual General Meeting.

Victorian Excellence Awards

Our Victorian Excellence Awards were recently held at Harbour Kitchen and it was a truly wonderful evening celebrating the exceptional people and projects within our industry.

We received an outstanding group of nominations, each highlighting the dedication and care demonstrated by hospitality professionals across Victoria. The quality of the nominations made the judging process incredibly difficult, and every nominee should feel very proud of their achievements.

Congratulations to all our amazing award winners. It was a privilege to recognise your contributions and hear about the positive difference you are making within your organisations, for your teams and, most importantly, for the patients, residents and communities you support.

I would also like to sincerely thank our award presenters who brought warmth and a personal touch to the evening. Their enthusiasm helped make each presentation meaningful and created a wonderful atmosphere for our nominees, winners and guests.

Footscray Hospital Tour

Victorian members and supporters were fortunate to tour the new Footscray Hospital. The hospital is a beautiful, modern facility and we were privileged to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour.

Thank you to the Footscray Hospital team for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. A special thank you to Matthew Elkins, Scott, Vy, Dinesh and Laraine for sharing their time and knowledge with our members and making the tour such a success.

Following the tour, members and supporters enjoyed lunch together at the Station Hotel. Taking the time to connect and share our common passion of healthcare.

Thank you to our Victorian Committee, members and supporters for your continued enthusiasm and commitment. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces at the Footscray Hospital tour.
