SA Branch Report

Julie Dundon SA Branch Chair

The SA Branch Committee is delighted to be kicking off the year with our planning meeting for the 2026-2027 financial year. After such a successful and energising 2025, we’re looking forward to building on that momentum together. Many of the activities you’ve told us you value will continue – including our meet and greet events, breakfast gatherings and opportunities for rich discussion and connection across the sector.

Our first breakfast meeting for the year was held at the Griffin Hotel, Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide SA from 7.30am on Thursday March 5. We were thrilled to welcome Ruth Blackham, who spoke on strengthening staff engagement and recognition – an area that continues to be vital for all of us working in healthcare hospitality. We received a strong turnout for what was an inspiring start to the year.

On behalf of the SA Branch Committee, I warmly extend our best wishes for a rewarding and successful year ahead. Please remember that we are here to support you, collaborate with you and assist you. If you have questions, challenges you’d like to unpack or ideas you’re exploring we encourage you to reach out. And if we don’t have the answer straight away, we’ll do our best to connect you with someone who has.

We are always eager to hear your ideas for future meetings – topics you’d like explored, speakers you’d love to hear from or issues that matter most in your day to day work. You’re welcome to contact any member of the SA Committee to share your thoughts.

We look forward to connecting with you throughout 2026 and continuing to strengthen our community together.

JULIE
