VIC/TAS Branch Report

Lisa Cranham VIC/TAS Branch Chair

With the holidays approaching, I want to pause and celebrate the remarkable efforts of our members throughout 2025. This year has been full of growth, shared learning and exciting developments in healthcare hospitality.

Our Victorian and Tasmanian branches have hosted a diverse and engaging program of events this year, including the Meet and Greet in Tasmania, our highly informative AI webinar and the Excellence Awards Cocktail Party. Each event provided valuable opportunities for learning, networking and sharing best practice, raising the bar for excellence across the sector.

A standout highlight was, of course, the Melbourne National Conference 2025. Bringing together members from across the country, the conference delivered inspiring presentations, engaging workshops and lively networking opportunities. It was a chance to celebrate the remarkable achievements happening in our industry, exchange ideas and reconnect with colleagues old and new.

Looking ahead, we are already buzzing with ideas for the 2026 Tasmania National Conference. The Victorian committee and National Board are working together to shape an exceptional program, with exciting tours, key speakers and innovative ideas already in development to make next year’s conference truly memorable.

As we head into the festive season, I encourage everyone to take a well-earned break. Pause, reflect on your accomplishments, enjoy quality time with family and friends, and recharge for another year filled with innovation, growth and collaboration in 2026.

Wishing you an amazing Christmas and a New Year filled with health, happiness and success.

Warm regards,
LISA
